I use and love the same NARS foundation in the same color. Years back I wrote a review on Sephora saying "hey I love this but the name feels a little off". Sending all the good juju for the upcoming week!!!
I made the pasta limone and it was fabulous! The only thing I would change is making 8oz of thin spaghetti noodles, instead of 16 oz. I made about 12 oz for my first attempt, and even that was a bit too much. Just sayin'. The two of us went back for seconds, and STILL had one bowl left to reheat for lunch the next day. There would have been more sauce using 8oz. of noodles. Also...I eliminated the zest and used one lemon and it was still delicious. Thank you for your attention to this matter...your Mother.
10000% recommend listening to Project Hail Mary on audiobook!! The only way I could get through it and there are voices and itβs just much more enjoyable overall. (Also used 1.5x speed π)
I couldn't get into Project Hail Mary at all. I read about half of it and just could not get past the endless scientific descriptions, so I quit. I know people rave about it, but I'll just have to miss out on this one. Oh well! I'll see the movie.
Absolutely loved The Correspondent. It was my favorite read in 2025. I don't know if I could have read Project Hail Mary in print since there is SO much science. I loved the audiobook, though, and can't wait to watch the movie. If you're looking for a great read, Wild Dark Shore by Charlotte McConaghy is very good.
came here to say the same -- i don't think i could have gotten through just reading the book given the subject matter, but the audiobook narrator was great. i'll be honest, it's still not a genre i personally love, but if you want to continue the story i'd switch to audio, IMO!

yes!!! i read that one last year and wrote about it :)
Damn, somehow I missed that! I see you gave it 5 stars on Goodreads. That ending, though... OK, how about Finding Grace by Loretta Rothschild. I couldn't put it down. https://lesleysbooknook.blogspot.com/2026/01/finding-grace.html
I could only get through Project Hail Mary on audiobook, but HIGHLY enjoyed it in that format! The narrator sounds like Tom Hanks and is wonderful.

this is WILD how many of y'all are saying to listen to it. i HATE an audiobook, so maybe i should just give up and wait for the movie...
I thought the same thing about Ray Porter's narration of PHM!
